I liked doing this puzzle, but, I thought a rebus was more like a series of pictures representing a phrase or word rather than a neat picture of a word.#2: bugaboo (bugaboo) on May 29, 2010

Good rebus#6: Billie Patterson (bpat) on May 30, 2010
Merriam-Webster defines a rebus like this: "a representation of words or syllables by pictures of objects or by symbols whose names resemble the intended words or syllables in sound; also : a riddle made up of such pictures or symbols." I can't remember what you call TOthrowWEL, but it's not a rebus.#7: Carol Brand (KarylAnn) on May 30, 2010
Wow, Billie, being that I'm a librarian, I like to see a person quote the dictionary! I actually got the puzzle from a word rebus book. The author states that he also likes to call them Position Puzzles. Do you like that description better?#8: Carol Brand (KarylAnn) on May 31, 2010
Thanks everyone!#9: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jun 9, 2010
