Puzzle Description:

Black Widow spider

This has very many solutions, due to the thin legs. I think the puzzle needs a bit more work to make it solvable. I recommend reading the advice on creating puzzles that is linked to from the create puzzle page. Some of the techniques discussed there would help a lot.

Hmmm....the puzzle has been changed, and now has only two solutions. The third leg from the top on the right hand side has some ambiguity. If you use the helper, it will solve all but the ambiguous bit, making it easy to find it. This should be easy to fix.

Third times the charm! Now the puzzle has a unique solution. Good work.

overall nice but the original design was probably bettle but not solvable.

Maybe it could be worthy of redesign it from the begining to have a more symetric look to the legs

I actually think it's better without symmetry. Perfectly symmetrical puzzles are a little boring, since the two sides usually solve the same. A little asymmetry adds interest.

Havent started, but I'm betting its a spider by the title and the hourglass-looking numbers ont he left.

Yes indeed, black widow. The first title kind of gave it away, although the fact that I run across about half a dozen a day sort of keeps them in the front of the mind.

On a solving note, when there is only one block of a single color, that color is pretty easy to figure first.

Turned out to be exactly what I expected from the title. Ditto #s 6 & 7,
