ditto #3. I like the image but it was a challenge to get to the end. :)#5: Teresa K (fasstar) on Feb 4, 2010 [HINT]

I wish the L key worked for me, just to see how it works.#7: jewel crown (jewel) on Feb 4, 2010
Awesome design; quite a challenge for me to solve. I loved it!#8: Teresa K (fasstar) on Feb 4, 2010
Thanks, Jewel.#9: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Feb 4, 2010
Adam, try a different browser. L key is a very cool little tool.
Teresa, it worked! I had never thought about trying it in IE (I always solve in Firefox). Why would it work in one browser but not another? It is a pretty cool feature. But, I won't ever use it.#10: Teresa K (fasstar) on Feb 4, 2010
I only use it on a really big puzzle where I'm stumped and tired and don't want to go through line by line again. Like this one. :-)#11: Sallie Wilbur (sarriemom) on Feb 4, 2010 [HINT]

The center is "a bit more challenging"??? This was an amazing and amazingly hard puzzle. As to the other comments: What the L is the L key? I'll have to try it on an easy puzzle. I'm not sure I'd want to use it on this puzzle.#13: Teresa K (fasstar) on Feb 5, 2010
Thanks, Sallie.#14: Liz P (Lizteach) on Feb 10, 2010 [HINT] [SPOILER]
Craig, The L key will work in most browsers except for Firefox on a Windows system. If you are using IE or Safari or Chrome or have a Mac, then try it out next time you are solving a puzzle. Here is what Jan posted in the News section (link on the left) regarding the L hot key:
I was experimenting and added a half-baked hint facility. If you hit the "L" key or the "?" while the cursor is over the puzzle, it will pop up a little purple arrow in the margin of the puzzle marking a line where some line solving can done to mark at least one more cell.
The logic used to generate these hints is taken from the "helper" program, which isn't immensely bright. It will sometimes say "no hint available" even if there is still some line solving that can be done, and it certainly won't ever know to suggest using edge logic.
Eventually, I hope to make this a bit smarter and add a button labeled "Hint" to the menu.

very pretty design#17: Martha Valdés (maval) on Apr 11, 2012
tough puzzle too
Great puzzle!!! Not easy but very fun to solve, nice challenge. Very good design for an unusual topic.#18: Vaggelis Kamaris (evag7651) on Apr 15, 2013
nice. Not so difficult. thanks#19: Susan Duncan (medic25733) on Feb 6, 2018
Almost 5 years later and the L key works great on Firefox. I had to use it when I got stuck but well worth the effort to complete.#20: Teresa K (fasstar) on Feb 20, 2018
Susan, I'm glad you were able to complete it. I remember making this one... it was complicated to create. Thank goodness for that little L key, hey? :-)#21: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Jun 27, 2018
I found this gem in the featured puzzles today. The pun got my attention right away and I saw a circular floral pattern forming the whole time. Also, I love that it solves from the outside in. It totally embodied a circularly moving image.#22: Koreen (mom24plus) on Aug 30, 2020
Cool. I like it.#23: Synthia McBride (synthia) on Aug 21, 2022
Excellent puzzle. Just the right amount of challenge. Thanks.
