While you sit at your computer, all warm and snug in your home, think of the many out on the streets who don't have a place to call home. Many of these individuals cannot function well in the world because they suffer from Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders. It is thought that more than half of all homeless individuals suffer from FASD.

I am proud to say that I was a Bell Ringer for the Salvation Army this year. It was fun, and fulfilling. The last week I was out there, instead of ringing, I started singing. I belted out Christmas carols from the front door of WalMart all the way out to the street.

That just made my day, Joseph! And what a great way to volunteer. :-)
