This one requires edge logic, two-way logic, and smile logic. Have fun!#3: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on Nov 4, 2009
Found to be logically solvable by Gator.#4: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Nov 5, 2009 [HINT]
Excellent solving puzzle. Fabulous. I used edge logic at the beginning, then 2-way logic about 1/3 to 1/2 way through twice; first at Cs 8/9 with R4, and then at Cs 9/10 and R 16. Smile logic at the very end on the smile. Loved it.#5: Jane Doe (telly) on Nov 5, 2009
wow. that was tough! My brain hurts and I'm not even sure how I completed it. Course, my excuse is that it's too late and I really should get some sleep.#6: Gator (Gator) on Nov 9, 2009
That being said...
nice puzzle and cute image! :)
Thanks Adam and Jane.#7: Teresa K (fasstar) on Nov 16, 2009 [HINT]
Wow! I really enjoyed this one. I did all the weird logic and made slow progress, until I got stuck. It took me awhile, but I finally found an elusive clue that I had missed before. Then it finished nicely. Such a cute image. Worth all the work.#8: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Nov 3, 2010
I really appreciate the effort you put into creating puzzles like this, Gator, that make us use our brains and have a good image as a reward.

logically solved. tough!!!!#12: Bryan (Cyclone) on Dec 30, 2013 [HINT]
Unbelievably difficult. However, I found some lookahead logic in the final row with the 2 at the beginning. The ways that several combinations dot the remainder of the bottom two rows and contradict then with the progress on the 4 in R14 shrinks the available space to three squares for the 2, then the first of the three can immediately be ruled out due to a problem with the 2 in the final of those three columns, finalizing its location in C9-10.#13: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Jul 15, 2016
I then used some fancy line logic in R13C5. I already had R12C5 and R13C7 filled and R13C8 with a dot, and the pair of 1s at the end already filled in, leaving a 1,2 clueset. R13C5 is a dot in this scenario as a fill contradicts R13.
It solves from there. Of course, smile logic is still needed at the end.
Fun solve. Cute image.
