Puzzle Description:

Pale Man from Pan's Labyrinth, coming to life after Ofelia eats two grapes off his table. Thought of him while trying to come up with a Halloween costume...

Too symmetrical for it to be fun. I don't know who or what this is, even after reading the description.

This is one of those images where you need to have seen the source to appreciate the solution. As it is, it's quite good (c/w the film that is probably one of the best I have ever seen).
Can't seen how it could become a Hallowe'en costume, though, not without a lot of effort and rehearsal anyway! -

Really, Adam, "even after reading the description"?
#4: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Oct 23, 2009 [SPOILER]
Yes, really. This is supposed to be "Pale Man?" Is it a guy holding hands up in front of his face? Well, it actually looks like he is sticking his hands up near his ears; or that his hands ARE his ears. Are those black things even hands? If so, it looks like he has too many fingers.

Adam, good job! You do see it! Rent the movie. It's good (but there are a few scenes I would fast forward through.)

boohoo its a 30x30, could only get so much detail.. he has 5 fingers like your link, maybe you think the '6th finger' is the top of his head? You should rent the movie though it's interesting.
#8: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Oct 23, 2009 [SPOILER]
Yes, I thought the top of his head was his "6th" fingers.

Oh my. I didn't think it was very scary until I clicked on the link, but the real image definitely made me sit up a little straighter in my chair.

I've seen the movie, which is interesting, and after reading the description I can see what it is meant to be, but before reading the description, I thought it was a close up front view of an ostrich's head. An ostrich which big eye lashes.
#11: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 27, 2009 [SPOILER]
That was one scary movie! Maybe a better title would be "Don't Eat the Food!" Pale Man is right out of a nightmare.
#12: Jane Doe (telly) on Nov 13, 2009 [SPOILER]
ditto #9. After seeing the link image of him, I'm not sure I want to see the movie.
I can see the ostrich too or maybe a frog with long eye lashes.
#13: GabrielMyCat (gabrielmycat) on Oct 7, 2010 [HINT] [SPOILER]
I first thought ostrich, then camel... I don't know how to explain the hands. clicked the link and was scared straight! I quit watching movies after watching the latest "War of the Worlds". Who can blame me when it seems that Spielberg ran out of money and just abruptly stopped the movie AND everyone lived. Geez, I digress.
