Puzzle Description:
The title is a Spoonerism. I hope you think this is a pun fuzzle.

A little edge logic on top will help.#2: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Oct 14, 2009 [HINT]
I guessed it right away from the title. I do the same thing quite often. I didn't know it had a name.#3: Jane Doe (telly) on Oct 14, 2009
Edge logic can be used on both sides, but it doesn't get you anywhere until you use it on the top row.
Nice one.
very nice. I too guessed it. :P fun puzzle.#4: jewel crown (jewel) on Oct 14, 2009
Lots of pun! Enjoyable to solve.#5: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 14, 2009
Thanks, Adam and Telly and Jewel. Spoonerisms are named after William Archibald Spooner, a professor who often muddled his words. The background is rather humorous. Lake a took:#6: Linda Lee Martin (dogmom) on Oct 15, 2009

Haha! I must have some kind of brain problem, because once I read your comment about Spoonerisms, I said "What Spoonerism?" and scrolled up to reread the title. I hadn't even registered that the letters had been switched :)#10: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 15, 2009
Great puzzle. Very elegant for such a small size.
And I agree with dogmom. I'm partial to "belly jeans" myself :)
Thanks, BluePaint.#11: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Oct 15, 2009
Very elegant puzzle. Fun solve.#12: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 15, 2009
Thanks, BlackCat.#13: Jan Wolter (jan) on Oct 18, 2009 [SPOILER]
I also didn't notice the Spoonerism. I read the title as "Table Lamp" and didn't notice the letters were switched until I read the description.#14: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 18, 2009
Nice puzzle.
Thanks, Jan. Funny how the brain works. :-)#15: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Oct 18, 2009 [SPOILER]
Elegant an apt description of this puzzle. The flower-patterned shade and wrought-iron-looking stand combine to create just that feeling for me. Thanks once again Teresa!#16: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 18, 2009
Glad you liked it, JoDeen.#17: bugaboo (bugaboo) on May 22, 2011
