Well, there is a padlock on the refrigerator and the pantry is locked, and she needs to have 24/7 supervision. Her diet is carefully controlled with every calorie counted. The food control is the easy part. What's most challenging is the mental health issues. But she's my Sweetie and I love her. Thanks for asking.#7: Jane Doe (telly) on Oct 1, 2009 [SPOILER]

They'll have to win the next 4 games for starters ... Good luck!#9: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Oct 1, 2009
Not just that, but the Rockies have to lose all 4. It won't happen. Both teams will be lucky to go 2-2.#10: Robyn Broyles (ginkgo100) on Oct 1, 2009
grumble grumble Atlanta fans.... ;-)#11: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 1, 2009
Teresa, I did a bit of a double take when I read your comment, because we also have padlocks on the fridge, freezer, and pantry. I don't think my older son had any food deprivation in the first few months of life before he came to live with us... but he has never had any self-control over his favorite foods and tends to hoard any treats he can get hold of. It's interesting to me that it's only treats and junk food. Makes me think it's related more to impulsivity (he has significant ADHD, which includes impulsivity) than true food issues.
A girl with the challenges your daughter faces couldn't have a better mom.
Thanks, Robyn.#12: Byrdie (byrdie) on Oct 15, 2009
