Puzzle Description:

A Sea Turtle

This one is still pretty hard! And tough on the eyes after a while.
#2: Eloy (priamo) on Dec 1, 2007
It´s imposible in logic manner.

I will try with different pattern but I think that is not a good metodh.

Sorry for my poor english, may I write in other language like, spanish, french or italian?.

Regards

#3: Mikey (Nuggy) on Dec 12, 2007 [HINT]
I was able to solve without guessing; logic only. It's tricky though. Need some edge logic on top and some other unconventional logic within.
#4: Arduinna (arduinna) on Feb 25, 2008 [HINT]
Eloy, there are only a few people who regularly post on this site who speak other languages (that I know of), but you can try!

Anyway, I understand what you were trying to say, but I agree with Mikey that it can be solved with logic if you use a bit of edge logic and some color logic. It's tough, though!
#5: Scylla Kat (scyllacat) on Mar 4, 2008 [HINT]
I was able to solve it with logic, but only by counting out where the Black squares had to be (15 columns x 12 rows) then working in the green around/between.

You're good at this, Jan. Has "Games" offered you a job yet?
#6: Marie-Louise Ambrey (marz) on Apr 28, 2008
Gorgeous, and a great challenge as well :)

#7: Ben Forgard (ben.1) on May 14, 2008 [HINT]
I thought it was impossible... until I followed the hint above and figured out, in the top row, what spaces could NOT be green, which opened up the entire puzzle.
#8: Jan Young (haidapup) on Aug 16, 2008
I found this one a little difficult at first but I sure love the image - good job!
#9: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Sep 23, 2008
Thanks for the LONG message,in #6, Marz. :-)

I must have skipped this one the first time, because it was too difficult for me to solve when I first got on this site, not having solved these puzzles before. The second time around of going through these, I solved it. Well worth the effort! I was about to write essentially what #3 and #5 did, but I won't repeat them. Awesome!

Not a prob Adam! :) Sometimes I can be a woman of many words.
#11: Jota (Jota) on Nov 11, 2008
Beautiful!
#12: Miranda Loeber (lucentvictrola) on Apr 7, 2009 [HINT]
I was able to solve this relatively quickly by figuring out where the black squares had to be and filling in green around them. Not impossible, and a nice use of alternate logic, not just cross-referencing back and forth :]
#13: Byrdie (byrdie) on Sep 18, 2009 [HINT]
Simply repeating what's said above, edge logic on the first row made solving the rest of the puzzle, a very nice puzzle, easy.
#14: Laura May (jplm117) on Jan 19, 2010
Tricky puzzle but well worth it!

Ditto #5 on how to solve.
#15: Diana W (aeris) on Feb 8, 2011 [SPOILER]
Fun color logic. :)
#16: Teresa K (fasstar) on Sep 3, 2011
Fun solve!
#17: larrry grizzard (gizzard) on Sep 30, 2011
Marz, it's not when women use many words that men worry about, it's those long silences that we are scared of!
#18: Pam Tucker (grammypam) on Mar 16, 2023
Nice picture. Enjoyed solving!
#19: Bill Eisenmann (Bullet) on May 18, 2023
I had this sitting around in my saved pile, with only a few dots filled in. I just stared at it for a while, and suddenly could place some pixels, and it went very quickly from there. FANTASTIC image!
