Here's the image:

I did another one, different angle, but it was too easy. :-)

This, of course, is the "Next Generation" version.

Even expecting the image, it was a great solve. Great use of color.

Nice.

Teresa, you keep stealing my ideas! I was going to do an Enterprise D, too. TNG is my favorite series by far. No problem though, I enjoyed solving yours! Keep up this prolific streak.

(Actually, this is the only idea of mine you've stolen—but when you started making telescopes, I knew I had to execute my Hubble idea ASAP lest you beat me to it.)

Thanks for the puzzle. I'm a big Star Trek fan.

Thanks, everyone. I'm probably the oldest (and therefore most loyal) Star Trek fan here. I remember when the FIRST TV series began, in 1966 - I was a teenager. I watched every episode of the original series. TNG ran from 1987 to 1994. My favorite too!

Awesome puzzle! You are so creative, and really not so old... I wasn't quite a teenager yet in '66, but I remember the original series well. It was quite an amazing show back then - a bit more scientific than Lost in Space!

Thanks, Tonia.

Very nice, but should she have green running lights to starboard and red to port? :-)
#12: Teresa K (fasstar) on Sep 18, 2009 [SPOILER]
She should indeed! My colorblind eyes did not pick them up on the phhoto, but they are there. I won't add them now, but you can imagine them. The details in my memory run less to the design of the ship and more along the lines of how handsome Picard was. :-)
#13: Jane Doe (telly) on Sep 19, 2009 [SPOILER]
tng was my favorite of them too. Nice image.
