Puzzle Description:

This Star Trek Romulan is most likely a type INTP (Introspective, iNtuitive, Thinking, Perceiving). Does he look a little like Mr. Spock?

INTPs are known for their quest for logical purity, which motivates them to examine universal truths and principles. They are constantly asking themselves and others the questions 'Why?' and 'Why not?' Clear and quick thinkers, they are able to focus with great intensity on their interests. They appreciate elegance and efficiency in thought processes and require them, even more so, in their own communications. To others they may see arrogant and aloof. From science and math to economics and philosophy: just name the discipline, and you'll find INTPs perched on the loftiest rungs of theory and analysis.

Famous INTP's include Charles Darwin, Albert Einstein, Sir Isaac Newton, Socrates, Bob Newhart, Meryl Streep, and Macauley Culkin.

Answering your question in the description - no, he doesn't. He looks a LOT like Spock :)

I was so engrossed in solving that I didn't see it until the very end. Great puzzle! I'm an INTP.

Thanks, Francie. So far the introspective intuiters are in the lead.

I'm an INT. I'm almost right in the middle between Perceiving and Judging. Great puzzle!

EDIT: I just took the test again, and now I'm much more J than the last time I took it.

Found to be logically solvable by jan.

I vacillate wildly in my M-B score. Most reliably, though, I used to be an ENTJ. Now I'm getting INFP regularly.

Also, yes, it looks quite a lot like Spock. In fact, I only knocked it down a peg on the Quality scale (from 5 to 4) because it looks more like Spock than it does a Romulan. :) I suppose, looking now, what I perceived to be shadow is probably hair around the face.

Lastly, I agree regarding the logical solvability. I didn't have to guess in the slightest, and used the line logic Adam was talking about in exactly the same way.

Thanks, Cynthia. What type would you like to be for now?

It is Mr. Spock. He is a Vulcan, not a Romulan. I just now realized my mistake in the description. But I'm not going to change it now. Oh well. I was just asking if you think he looks like Spock in hopes that you would say Yes! :-)

Spock's not a J type? I am not so familiar with the show, so I have no valid argument, but what little I know of him just seems so organized like a Judger.
#18: Velma Warren (Shiro) on Aug 15, 2018 [SPOILER]
I guessed Mr. Spock early on. Very enjoyable solve. Did have to guess once.

Thanks, Velma.
