I didn't actually know what that was until after I read the description, but I probably should have. I guess I hardly ever seen them without anyone in them.

Typo in the title, should be "sUmmer" not "sOmmer"

Let's try this and see if this works:

This is a test as to my ability to post a link. ;-)

Hurray! I have succeeded!
I found a very interesting link on Wikipedia today! It is a bilingual Danish/English site. (Please see comment #8) :)

Guess what I found? "Sommer" is Danish for the English word "Summer"!

Since I'm the dope who doesn't read, write or speak any Danish, I needed to look up what I had already suspected. That is, that Gitte not only has more creative puzzle talent than I, but that she also possesses a bright enough mind to understand and use more than one language. I'm suspecting (again) that she knows more than 2!

Thank you Gitte, not only for the fun puzzle, but also for sharing your beautiful native language. ^v^

it's odd but I read summer after I did the puzzle, must be the mind taking control :)

I'm ready to believe that "sommer" is Danish, but what is "Sommertime"? Come to think of it, what is the difference between "summer" and "summertime"? Well, only one of them is a song. Cue up Louis Armstrong....

It's summertime
And the living is easy.
Fish are jumpin'
And the cotton is high.

Your daddy's rich,
And your mamma's good lookin',
So hush little baby,
Don't you cry.

Though I always swap "daddy" and "mamma" when I sing it, 'cause it's better that way.

#12: Gypso (Gypso) on Jan 7, 2008
Lol Jan. I heard the same song in my head, only the singer is female from Porgy and Bess (can't remember her name).

I like your switch to the lyrics. I admit that I have monkeyed with the lyrics myself, whereby I (being the Mamma)am both rich and good lookin,.

I was thinking of the Ella Fitzgerald / Louis Armstrong recording, and come to think of it, I'm not sure which of them does that song (or both?). But there have been plenty of amazing versions of that song.

Zandperl you are absolutely right, and I hate typo's :o(

Gypso you are right too. Sommer is danish. :o)

Lol Jan.... "what is the difference between "summer" and "summertime"? Well, only one of them is a song."

Reading sommertime in danish, it means: summer hour ;o)

i also saw a face:

the triangles of the bra cups are the eyes
the left tie string curving back toward the middle on the right side of the screen is the nose
the bottom triangle is the mouth
