I have seen this viking as a logo for many things, including several schools, etc (and I think the Minnesota Vikings football team, as well).

It was initially impossible to get it to solve logically, (despite how much relative black there was) and after hours of unsuccessful deliberating, changing, and editing, I finally gave in and made his helmet black, which let it solve.

I don't believe by making his helmet black that you made him look worse. I think he looks amazing!

Thank you. I don't think he looks necessarily worse, I just try and make them as realistic as possible (just like I find them on the internet) without changing the image. I get frustrated with myself when I have to vary from the image I base my puzzles on, that's all.

Isn't it strange that in all pictures, vikings have horns on their helmets, but the real ones didn't?
