Time to expand your mind bugaboo. Yes, I'm an American, live in the US and speak English. I even use proper puncutaion.#13: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Dec 18, 2010

Ignorance is a lack of knowledge, not necessarily a derogatory term. So if you have no knowledge of a particular subject you would be ignorant. I admit to being so on many subjects. For instance, I couldn't hold a candle to the mathematical knowledge many on this site present. That doesn't mean I wouldn't understand it if it were explained to me, I just am not knowledgeable on the subject.
I'll go with you're smart enough ...
As far as rude or mean, I'll admit to having been bothered. I don't see rudeness in being matter of fact. bugabooo didn't understand a term I used. I was bothered by his persistance in calling that term into question - even calling my nationality into question despite my having posted numerous times where I'm from and where I'm at. I guess I took umbrage at the repeated questioning ala the tactics of a couple other bothersome individuals.
I've seen plenty I didn't, and perhaps still don't understand in the comments on this site. I'm not a pest about it and now it's clear that I don't like being pestered about it either. I do my own research and find my own answers. I've even cut and pasted foreign phrases into google to get an interpretation.
bubaboo - if you think I was namecalling and that's why you want to call me rude or mean, go back and look. I offered you the opportunity to choose your own label. How that label fits is of your own definition, not mine.
Done.
