awsome puzzle the likeness is truly perfect
good job again friend
just like that since you are no longuer judge and doing puzzle when do we see your WC#16 puzzle ???
Never. I don't feel worthy to enter such a highly esteemed contest. Sorry. I will let others enjoy the contest, and I will sit back, relax, and solve them when I am at work.#3: Sylvain "WCPman" (qwerty) on Dec 8, 2008
Thank you for the wonderful comment, by the way.
you wouldn't won anyway...lol#4: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Dec 8, 2008
just kidding
I know. That's why I won't submit any puzzles.#5: Sylvain "WCPman" (qwerty) on Dec 8, 2008
come on man try it you could really spice up the competition#6: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Dec 8, 2008
be original and use your creativity and talent.
You know I don't have any! I think the competition is already spiced up enough. I don't want to ruin things. The competition has been going so smoothly so far, why change it? If I win, then you are just biased. If I lose, then you may just not want to seem biased. LOL#7: Teresa K (fasstar) on Dec 8, 2008 [SPOILER]
Very fun puzzle. When I saw the horns, I knew who it was, but I didn't know it would be the cartoon character until I was almost done.#8: Sylvain "WCPman" (qwerty) on Dec 8, 2008
if you play and you got the best one you win if not you don't#9: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Dec 8, 2008
no biased choice here
Teresa...When you saw the horns you knew who it was but you didn't know who it was until you were done? Huh???#10: Teresa K (fasstar) on Dec 8, 2008 [SPOILER]
Adam, of course you're confused, no wait, I'm confused. I thought there were two different characters, but there's only ONE Hagar the Horrible, isn't there? And you did him up just right! Don't mind me, I've been a little too immersed in these puzzles. This was an especially good one - thanks!#11: wendy herndon (wendyherndon) on Dec 9, 2008
Good job, Adam. That was great lunch break diversion!#12: Stephanie T (laalbacoronada) on Dec 9, 2008
great puzzle! I've discovered, Adam, that yours aren't as hard as they initially seem, as long as I'm really careful to mark off numbers as I fill in the corresponding blocks. Still, doing that isn't super easy either.#13: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Dec 10, 2008
Thank you all for your compliments. Yes, Stephanie, I have toned them down as of late (all my new puzzles). I only make solvable-by-logic puzzles now. I want them to be fun to solve, maybe a little tricky, but always solvable by logic. I think that it is the greatest challenge in puzzle making (getting them to turn out that way).#14: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Dec 10, 2008
nice job..again :)#15: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Dec 10, 2008
glad to see one of your puzzles again
Thanks!#16: Jota (Jota) on Dec 11, 2008 [SPOILER]
I love Hagar! I love this puzzle! I don't love you calling me a "bad" judge!!!#17: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Dec 11, 2008
You are the "horrible" (JK)
When did I call you a bad judge?#18: Jota (Jota) on Dec 11, 2008
Thanks so much for the compliment.
#6 We judges stick together !!!#19: Bionerd (nieboo) on Dec 11, 2008
But since you made me a forum, I love you too.
Nice one!#20: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Dec 11, 2008
Thanks!#21: Jane Doe (telly) on Dec 12, 2008
very nice! Looks so much like him! fun to do on paper.#22: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Dec 12, 2008
Thank you.#23: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Jan 14, 2009 [SPOILER]
I thoroughly enjoyed this puzzle. Since the lower half came together for me first, I had no idea who or what this was going to be...I actually thought it was a clown picture of John Wayne Gacy's...which also would have fit the title. Thanks again for a great puzzle, Adam.#24: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jan 14, 2009
I also like that you only create puzzles solvable by logic alone. For me that quality is intrinsic to a genuine pbn...no matter how wonderful the image!
Adam, I really liked this one too. It was a good size. All your puzzles are such great quality. I feel very deprived though, because lately your puzzles are too big for me to solve. I have to solve puzzles in "bigger" mode (impaired vision) and those tall ones don't fit on my screen (even in full screen mode) Anything taller than 50 I can't work. Boo hoo. I hope you make one 40 or 45 high so I can get my monkeyboy fix. Please? :)#25: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Jan 14, 2009
Thanks, both of you.#26: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Feb 18, 2011
To #23: I wouldn't say "only" when referring to my logically solvable puzzles. But yes, my last 100 or so have been that way. My earlier ones have needed some guessing. I have thought about going through and editing those, but I don't know...
To #24: Sorry about that. I had the same problem. I had to skip over lots of Nancy's puzzles for the same reason. Then I changed the display settings on my computer, and although everything is a lot smaller, puzzles that size usually fit now. I would LOVE to be able to create smaller puzzles, but then I sacrifice quality. I have tried countles times to keep them 50 or less in height, but it rarely happens. I guess I could turn the image sideways and really throw people off while solving them. :-)
good job#27: Marsha Rolle (marsharolle) on Feb 22, 2012
wonderful puzzle. I also solved the bottom first, but foolishly thought it was Darth Vader at first. Thank you#28: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Feb 22, 2012
Thank you both.#29: Synthia McBride (synthia) on Jun 25, 2022
I really enjoy your puzzles, including this one. It was a fun solve.#30: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Feb 17, 2023
From the description, I thought it might be Mean Mr. Mustard, so I had that running through my head, followed by Polythene Pam, followed by She Came in Through the Bathroom Window...
