The image made me think of Frida, but that's a movie.
Something from The Cisco Kid? Oooh, Poncho!

You are absolutely right, Aurelian. Your detailed knowledge of the scene makes me think you enjoyed it as much as I did. The first time a saw it I almost fell off my chair laughing.

Yeah, I loved that scene. The show is before my time, but the humor is ageless. My parents showed me some skits when I was a kid, so I am familiar with the most popular things. My mom's favorite is the dentist skit with Harvey Korman and Tim Conway.
#5: Aldege Cholette (Aldege) on Jun 26, 2017
Great depiction Norma. One of my all time favourites too. That was the best show ever. I love the episodes where they're laughing so hard themselves that it's hard to keep going. Can you imagine what great fun they had doing those shows? :)

The dentist skit is a classic, Aurelian. Tim Conway was so gifted. They were fun weren't they Aldege. They don't make television like that anymore. Dean Martin also had some hilarious moments.
#7: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jun 26, 2017
One of the best skits from that show!
#8: Tigger221 (sspell) on Jun 26, 2017
One of my all time favorite Carol Burnett skits, too! Great image!

Thank you, Kristen and Tigger.

Definitely my #1 Carol Burnett skit! Also loved Tim Conway trying to make Harvey Korman laugh. Although, apparently, Harvey hated that because it made him less of an actor in his mind.

Oh how funny! I remember that skit. They were so hilarious. And this puzzle is absolutely wonderful! Thanks for the smiles, Norma!

Thank you, Teresa!

Carol Burnett is my all-time favorite entertainer. She inspires me. She was surrounded by brilliant stars, musicians, choreographers, directors, and designers... including costume designer Bob Mackie. And the comedy was suitable for families!

That was the golden age of TV back then, never to be seen again. I haven't watched a so called sitcom in ages. They just aren't funny.
#16: Aldege Cholette (Aldege) on Jul 2, 2017
There are some funny sitcoms nowadays, but the humour is either on the crude side or just goofy to us who are from the era of comedy from Carol Burnett. Sitcoms like Cheers,News Radio(one of my favourites),Fraser and Two and a half men had some brilliant episodes. Spongebob,Family Guy and Futurama in my opinion are just nonsense. My teenage sons however think they're hilarious. :)

It's hard to believe that considering the smut that passes for humor these days, that on the Dick Van Dyke show they were not allowed to share a double bed.

I don't watch tv much, but if I do, I go for clean and intelligent humor. That's why "Phineas and Ferb" and "Milo Murphy's Law" are my favorite shows. They are considered kid's shows because they are on the Disney channel, but they are so witty and clever. I just love them. (I'm 26 and not ashamed. ^-^)

Thank you, JoDeen. Don't be ashamed Aurelian. If something is witty, intelligent, and clean--go for it.
