Great puzzle Travis! We used to have a drive in half way between the town I worked in and the next one over. When their ambulance was tied up we would have to go half way to cover for them. The people who owned the drive in used to let us take the ambulance in for free and we could watch movies while we waited for our next call. Sometimes took us three nights to see one movie though.#2: valerie o..travis (bigblue) on Jun 8, 2016

back in '91 the last drive-in here in jersey closed in hazlet and then a few years back a doctor opened one up in vineland and seems to be doing quite well :)
Wonderful puzzle, Travis. Cool story, Susan.#6: valerie o..travis (bigblue) on Jun 11, 2016

What a nice surprise. I forgot I saved this puzzle so it was a lot of fun finding and solving. I remember drive ins but they don't work all that well in Phoenix. Too hot in the summer plus as the population began to boom the land was too valuable for malls and cracker box houses. There's still one in Glendale, a city that borders the west side of Phoenix.#8: valerie o..travis (bigblue) on Jun 16, 2016
