As you probably know, I recently discovered this site, so everything is new to me.#2: Sylvain "WCPman" (qwerty) on Nov 16, 2010
What's to be expected as far as number of player ratings to number of completion's ratio?
I saw one with 4 ratings on 50 completions. That seems very low.
some user always rate puzzle they do other don't rate at all. I think that the user that are more experiment usually rate and sometime comment, but its really on a personnal level.#3: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Nov 21, 2010
my only advice it don't really bother yourself with those stats, its great to see them but they don't really mean anything as far as appreciation goes.
Similar topic can be read on rating puzzle (don't forget the now legendary rating war that happen not so long ago)
and to finsh this I would like to welcome you in here and thank you for already being very active in here (btw there is a small facebook group page for webpbn if you are interested)
what i have seen is that very few people rate puzzles in general compared to the number that solve them#4: Kadou (Kadou) on Nov 21, 2010
most people here just enjoy the solving (and sometimes the commenting) but ratings really dont mean much for the most part
As long as the ratings are not distorted (like the ratings war) and are a correct evaluation of a puzzle, then the number of raters is not a problem.
This information is important for new players and players with limited play-time when searching for puzzles.
