Yay for Kristen! Aldege, don't know if you like them, but just finished one of your puzzles in which you referred to a great Canadian band. Rush always comes to mind for me as a great representative for Canada's music!

Thx kjh,absolutely I love them. These guys are Canadian icons. They have been around forever. Fly by night is my favourite song of theirs. They also collaborated on a song with another great Canadian band named Max Webster. Are you familiar with them kjh?:)

I was not familiar with them until now. Battle scar maybe? Just listened to it, I think I can hear Neil on the drums, at least it sounds like his style. But, wow, quite an overall difference in sound from Rush. Thanks for the tip!

Getty Lee, the lead singer from Rush was the guest singer on the Great White North album. "Take off, to the great white north! Take off, you hoser."

Battle Scar is the song. You should listen to some of Max Webster's earlier music. I recommend the "A Million Vacations" cd. In "Battle Scar" you can't miss Geddy Lee's unmistakable voice. Kim Mitchell who was the leader of the band and the lead guitarist and vocalist,went on to do a lot os solo stuff later,which you might want to listen to. He is an unbelievable guitarist. I saw these guys live several times,best concerts I've ever attended.:)

I tried to find "last year" on youtube. is that the name of the band? can you tell me one of their songs?

Oh dear - this one was a bit cryptic. The name of the band is Rush and the album is 2112. If you want to watch them on youtube, I would suggest their song Fly By Night. They have one of the best all time drummers - his name is Neil Peart. He is also a terrific author- he writes about his travels quite a lot.
