#2: valerie o..travis (bigblue) on Apr 2, 2013
norma, it's a 3 inch scar that is not noticeable now. i was only 9 or 10 at the time it happened :)

I know exactly what you mean, Travis - your mom is ALWAYS your mom. Mine (also in her 80s) can still say my name in that same, stern way and I feel like I'm 7.
Great puzzle. I'm glad the scars have all healed.

Ouch! How old were you, Travis?

Fun solve.

oof! fun solve!

I had a similar experience, except I was racing my friend from a playground through a field to back home. he was on a bike, so I cut through a dried up pond....never felt any pain and got up and kept running. til I felt something wet on my leg....looked down, saw blood and bone and screamed bloody murder!

after the stitches, I wasn't supposed to take part at recess. that lasted one whole day til I was bored and decided to play soccer on day 2. my mom was PIIIIIISSED when she had to take me back to the hospital to put more stitches in....(they all ripped out)
