I had to guess to solve it. After seeing your hint, I started over, and the hint did not help me.#3: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Mar 13, 2013
hopefully others will see my point of view#4: Andraya (gothicfeline) on Mar 13, 2013 [HINT]
I'm not good at giving step-by-step guides of how I solved, but here's how I figured out one particular spot that gave me trouble.#5: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Mar 13, 2013 [SPOILER]
I looked at the 5 in C15. If it's all the way down at the bottom, the first five rows of C14 would be dots. That would make all the 5's in R2-5 go into C10, which would create a contradiction with the 2 clue there.
So with that I knew the 5 in C14 had to be at least partly in those first five rows. I filled in C14 R4&5 based on that, and that got me past the difficult spot.
Talk about making things hard for myself!...not the solve, which was fun...but I just could NOT see the actual image, for the life of me! All I could see was a close up of a male lion. I saw a nose and a jaw line going up into his mane...and of course, his eye (which is really a bird). Lol!#6: valerie o..travis (bigblue) on Mar 13, 2013
i'm glad there are no trees around for her kite to get stuck in but watch that bird :)#7: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Mar 13, 2013
hey gothicfeline that was a dang good explanation and that is also how i solved it#8: John Macdonald (perlwolf) on Mar 13, 2013 [SPOILER]
That incoming bird is about to get swatted.#9: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Mar 14, 2013 [SPOILER]
I wish I didn't have a long right arm with a hugh hand on it. It makes it hard to wave at that bird.:)#10: Jota (jota) on Mar 14, 2013

I thought she was dusting a ceiling fan until the bird came into view. Fun puzzle.#14: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Apr 29, 2013
lol ... thx teresa#15: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on May 30, 2013 [HINT]
I used the 2 in c10 when I solved it, like bugaboo and gothicfeline. However, here is the way I used it --#16: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on May 30, 2013
After all line logic is done (not much):
Pseudo-edge-logic on the 2 in c10: No matter where it is placed in the column, there will be at least one white space next to the current black block. That will force at least one 5 over into c15.
That one (or more) pixel in c15 will pin the 4 in that column, meaning that the maximum range of the 4 in c20 is r1-7. So c15r8-13 are white.
Then line logic to finish.
Oh, and if you're having trouble with gothicfeline's hint, when she says C15 she means C14.
Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by infrapinklizzard.#17: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on May 31, 2013
thanks Joe#18: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Feb 18, 2018
