Puzzle Description:

this started out as Rocky, but was too small of a grid to render better and still be unique and solvable....though unrecognizable as Sly, it's still not a bad image overall with a lil tricky solve at the end so I published anyway

It's still a good puzzle. It looks like a character from and old black and white movie but the name escapes me.

thanks Norma :)

It is a great image, but honestly I had no idea it was Sly or Rocky,I thought it was little orphan Annie.:)
#4: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Dec 16, 2012
after initial ll:

row 10 should have 2 empty squares left for only one pixel (either c15 or c16)
no matter which one goes there, the second 3-clue in r11 has to go to the right (in c19-21)
ll to finish
no guessing

Looks like Harpo of the Marx brothers. The one that played the harp.
#10: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Dec 17, 2012 [SPOILER]
maybe a young kid circa 1940's nyc

I don't know who he is but the solve was awesome!
#12: Synthia McBride (synthia) on Jul 14, 2013 [HINT]
I put logically solvable because I got to a certain point with across line 7-3-3-2, there were only two ways to put in the 3-3 combo. (I had the 7 and the 2 spots identified). When the first way didn't work after a few moves, I knew I had to go the other way. The puzzle finished up easily after that.

P.S. I think it is a good image of Rocky/Stallone. I think you captured his slightly off-centered face.
#13: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jul 14, 2013 [HINT] [SPOILER]
Edge logic on either 3 in r11 shows that it cannot go in c16-17 or there would be no room for the 1 in r10. Then LL to finish.

It's interesting that there are three methods outlined here (#4, #12 and this one), and all use the same relationships, yet all three are differently expressed.

I saw Tom Baker as the Doctor. http://4371les.blogspot.com/2011/05/why-i-love-tom-baker.html

glad you liked...but hahaha.I haven't been around in a long time. I do check in from time to time though. Due to recent events, I chose to stop by rather than watch the sad news of attacks on our democracy. At some point, you just have to turn the tv off. or you'll get either angry or sad or pessimistic

...or all three
#18: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Jan 8, 2021
yeah, Dennis. The worst part is that I don't think it's over. That was not the culmination of disenformation. I won't get specific, but these insurrectionists are still planning. They failed last time and think that they were too "soft" last time. I can't guess what is next, but the chatter says that they plan to ramp it up. That is the scariest thing I've ever heard

I hope I am wrong...but I doubt it
