Puzzle Description:

GRAND PRIZE WINNER receives ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!

#1: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jun 18, 2012 [SPOILER]

Madagascar?

It sort of looks like a lemur, but it really looks like Piglet with a long bushy tail.

This one was hard to get started, but I used some thick edge logic on the left side.
#2: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Jun 18, 2012 [HINT] [SPOILER]
If that's a crown it might be Scorpion King, if scorpions had four legs. Definitely looks like Piglet head though, agree with Kristen.

I used edge logic on the bottom row to just work the 2's in from each corner. that dotted C1-4R20 and C16-20R20. The rest was line logic. Fun solve.

dbouldin i did the same initial el to get the same dots in r20, but i couldnt solve the rest with simple ll after that
(i would love to know what i missed)

i had to use 2-way logic on each of the 2 clues in r20 - no matter which way they go (into either c5 or c7 AND into either c13 or c15 they all will affect the 8 clue in r18 and the only way that can be satisfied is if both "2" clues in r20 go inward, into c7 and c13)
ll to finish
no guessing

you've restumped myself bug...i'm guessing that i accidentally left something on the board that wasn't LL.
