#3: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Jun 10, 2012 [SPOILER]
Pouring salt on a wound?

That's a nasty looking ankle sprain.
#4: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jun 10, 2012 [SPOILER]
don't rub salt in the wound?
#5: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Jun 10, 2012 [SPOILER]

#6: valerie o..travis (bigblue) on Jun 10, 2012
tom, no don't, just "rub salt in the wound"
#7: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Jun 11, 2012
what is the blue stuff? bruising? if so what is the black stuff in/around the blue stuff?

after initial line/color logic:

no matter where the 1 clue in r14 goes (c18-21) the remaining "2" clue in r12 will be in that same column (somewhere to the right of c17) so you can dot all the remaining open spaces in r12 (c2-7)
ll
el the 4 clue in c21 to dot c10-14
ll to finish
no guessing

(was there an easier way to solve this logically?)

bug, since the phrase is rub salt in the wound, it suppose to be a black hand with a blue rag. i hope you can see it now.. :)
#9: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Jun 11, 2012 [SPOILER]
Oh, and here I thought it was a colorful bruise on a sprained ankle. That's about how my ankle looked.

There are clearly many variations of this phrase. I would give Al credit. :)

i didn't want to use green for rag color, thinking people would think it was gangrene :(
how nice of you to give al credit, is that your good deed for the day :)
#11: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jun 11, 2012
Thx Kristen.:)

Found to be logically solvable by gator.
#13: Gator (gator) on Jun 26, 2012 [HINT]
I did edge logic with the 4 5 4 clues in columns 19-21 starting with the 4 clue in column 21. This enabled me to place the black 1 clues in rows 13 and 14.

thanks again gator :)
