Puzzle Description:

I see you!

#1: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Jun 3, 2012 [HINT]

after initial line/color logic (you should only have the lower right corner of black, along with with 2 red pixels, left to be placed):

* the red clue in c18 can only go in r13 or r18; if it goes in r18 then 1-2 moves later you get an error in c19 so the red clue from c18 goes in r13
ll

c17 has two "1" clues remaining, to be placed (in some order) in the remaining 3 squares located in r16, r18, or r20 but if they are located in r16 and r18 (which they would both be part of "2" clues in those two rows) they would each be forced into c18, creating an error
this means that 1 of the two black 1 clues in c17 must be in r20
ll to finish
no guessing
great solve

*this step is actually not necessary for the solve but it was fun to find

A great image. Wonderful use of color. I don't think what I used to solve this was guessing. It was more common sense. When I realized what the image was there was no guessing needed to place the upper right quadrant.

Lots of fun color logic :)

Beautiful image and lots of fun to solve, up to the point that I got stuck - at the end in the lower right corner. But I had to look at bugaboo's hint to finish it without guessing. That was too many moves ahead for me to work out in my head.

Found to be logically solvable by gator.
#12: Gator (gator) on Jul 11, 2012 [HINT]
I looked at row 16 and how this would affect row 17. No matter how I fill in row 16, R17C18 will always be black. Color/line logic to finish the red.

I then did two-way logic with the 1 clue in row 19 to see that R18C18 has to be black. Line logic to finish.

Great color logic solve!
