Great image stella.:)

lots of initial line and color logic
then look at the black 1 clue in c15 (it can only go in r26, r27 or r28); the remaining clue in each of those rows is a black 2 so the black 2 clue from c16 is either in r26-27 or r27-28; either way r27c16 is black
ll
now for the last bit of red under her leg:
2-way logic on the 2 clue in r18 to dot r17c27-28,31 (not much help)
the best i can then see at this point is to do extended el to solve the rest but i think this borders on guessing
i would love a hint from someone else

I couldn't get any further Bugaboo! Stella, would you work on making it solvable, it's a nice puzzle otherwise.

I saved and guessed on the red in R18 C29 or 31. It didn't work one way, but it solved nicely the other way. I think a few well-placed pixels on the right edge of her skirt (or even a single blue) would go a long way toward making this solvable.

I can get all but the last bit of red done (rows 10-21 and columns 27-32 are unfinished).

Marking as guessing for now.

Found to require some guessing by gator.

I can get that last bit of red with several steps of look-ahead, but this definitely doesn't fall under "moderate."

I could get the red in R19-21 with line/color logic, and I'm looking at the top of the 4 in C30 sticking up into R18.

If you fill in R18C31 with red, the 1 in C32 has to go in R11, which leaves R10 unsolvable, so you need to fill in R18C29 instead, and then do a small amount of line logic.

Next, trying R16C28 filled in actually takes about 4-5 more moves before R10 is unsolvable, but they're fairly easy to trace since you're working with only one unsolved clue in each row. After filling in R16C30 instead, the rest solves with line logic.

I'm sorry to be nitpicky, but it irks me. The title should read La Chatte Noire or Le Chat Noir. The genders don't match up otherwise.

You're right, Aurelian! I should have seen that.

I'm obsessed with French right now. Seeing anything with chat noir made me have to check it out. ^-^

Loooooved chewing on this puzzle...and the image is neat, too. Very nice, Stella!

Great Job, Stella. Wonderful image and despite the rating, was quite solveable with colour and line logic.
