CONGRATULATIONS, Bugaboo!!! You are the GRAND PRIZE WINNER of ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! (Did you peek, or did you solve it that quickly?)
#3: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Mar 24, 2012 [SPOILER]
I had no idea Tom,but great image,i loved the rabbits ears.:)
#4: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Mar 24, 2012 [SPOILER]
I got this one, too. Al, it's a terrific Jimmy Stewart movie. Everyone thinks he's crazy, because he has an invisible 6-foot rabbit named Harvey.
#5: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Mar 24, 2012 [SPOILER]
NOT a rabbit! NOT a rabbit! Harvey is a Pooka! lol
#6: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Mar 24, 2012

#8: Tom King (sgusa) on Mar 24, 2012
Thanks.
#9: Joel Lynn (furface1) on Mar 24, 2012 [SPOILER]
I thought of Harvey as soon as I finished the rabbit ears.
#10: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Mar 24, 2012
after line logic:
el on 5 clue in r1
iel on 7 clue in c2
iel on 6 clue in c6
el on 4 clue in c15
the 2 pixels in r10c2 and r10c3 both belong to clues > 1 in those 2 columns but they cant both go into r11 so r9c3 is black

i think i am stuck without resorting to guessing unless i am just missing something

any hints anyone?

I had to peak. Tough puzzle but easy title. I just watched it again recently on Netflix instant.
#12: Tom King (sgusa) on Mar 25, 2012
Bugaboo, I solved it again without guessing.
#13: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Mar 25, 2012

I don't know where exactly you are stuck. I can't notate well. Basically, lame. The 4, 3s & 2 all clear out at the top creating the blank space up there. All the horizontal 7s and 5s get prelimilarily placed. The 4 in (I believe column 15) required some work. I spent 12 hours trying to get #72 solvable, resolved this one, and don't want to return. If Gator solves it, that will be acceptable to both of us. I don't post puzzles that I haven't solved.

tracked my solve but my computer froze and i lost the explanation. right now i'll just throw my vote in for solvable with logic alone and i might go back and redo my explanation later...right now i'm too frustrated because of the other stuff that got wiped with the freeze.

Great puzzle again

OK, my lame notes. C2 7 can't go r2.
r1 moves to c10
r2 excludes c4
r1 moves to c11
r2 c6 dotted
r5 c6 dotted
r6 c6 dotted
r7 c8 dotted
r2 c7 dotted
r1 c15 dotted
r5 c18 dotted
ll to finish
It took me an hour, and my notes might not be correct. It only requires logic.

I never publish puzzles that I can't solve by logic alone.

Thanks, Michelle :)
#21: Wombat (wombatilim) on Feb 2, 2017 [HINT]
Ok I got this:

EL on the 5 in R1. This places a black in R1C9. Note that whichever way you extend the 5, R2C8 is black. LL.

C2: Starting from the top, a black in R2C2 causes a contradiction in C3. This eliminates R3C2 as well. Now we know for sure that the black in R10C2 is part of the 7, and regardless of which way you extend it, R9C3 is black.

C6: Starting the 6 clue in R1-3 causes a contradiction in C7. This eliminates R4C6 as well. Now take another look at R1: placing a black in R1C13 causes a contradiction in R3. LL.

Do some EL for the 4 in C15 to eliminate R16-20. LL solves from there.

Thanks, Wombat!

Great illustration. Had to guess 3 times.
#24: besmirched tea (Besmirched Tea) on Jun 13, 2022 [SPOILER]
I was gonna guess Donnie Darko.
"Why are you wearing that stupid bunny suit?"
"Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?"

Been a while since I've seen it, but remember really liking that movie! Have you solved my puzzle #9100? It was for a challenge that had something to do with the word "weird" :)
