Puzzle Description:

This is Sven Van Miesterloggin,the winner of the Volvo Concept You.He's standing here in his wooden clogs,awaiting the presentation of his car,when suddenly a woodpecker lands on his foot and hammers away at his clogs. Do you know why Dutch men wear wooden clogs?...It's to keep the woodpeckers off their heads.:)

I feel like i can tell this joke without too much worry of offending the Dutch men because my son in law is Dutch and he told me this joke. He says most Dutchmen laugh with it. Hope i didn't offend anyone. Oh,and feel free to joke with me about my being a frog(frenchman),i do it all the time.:)

Aldegians have started a war over worse. How dare an Aldegian insult the Dutch???

My eyes hurt trying to distinguish the bird and shoes.

The Aldegians live peacefully with the Dutch. There are many Dutch communities spread out through Choletteville,but they are gated communities seperated and segragated from the french communities that dominate Choletteville. There is a great distance between the 2 communities and this is agreable to both because the french don't have to listen to the chattering of the woodpeckers,and the dutch are free from the annoying ribett,ribett sounds eminating from the french.:)

Gustaf,i was hoping you were going to say your eyes were hurting from tears of laughter. I guess not,i hope you weren't offended buddy. I can distinguish the bird and the shoes easily even with my poor eyesight,however that could be because i made the puzzle,lol.:)

Wow, karl's comment actually made me laugh this time.

Aldege, it took a bit of squinting, but I see it.

BTW, how many Aldegians does it take to screw in a light bulb? (I don't have an answer for this right now, because I've had a drink or two too many tonite, but I'll bet sgusa and others will come up with some clever responses.)

Heck even i got a laugh out of karl's comment,and i really laughed hard at Joel's joke and bug's answer to it. Great stuff people,i can't wait too hear more from sgusa and others.:)

It only takes one Aldegian to screw in a light bulb, because there is only one Aldege - he is one of a kind, no one else quite like him! :-)

Tom,we don't want you to stop them,they are necessary to life's balance. I'm not sure Bug likes or deserves to be saddled next to karl though.I think we should have a new award for puzzles. I've earned a few "What the %!*#&#..?'s" from karl already,i think we should all strive to make a puzzle that will get karl aroused enough to award a "What the %*!#^$"...award. I know i feel honoured.

You guys were all loopy last night lol!...and Aldege, Tom said "top" Karl or Bug's jokes, not "stop" them...and my eyes ARE hurting from tears of laughter from all the comments and jokes!

Ha,ha, now i'm dying of laughter that i read stop and not top. It makes perfect sense now. I'd like to claim that it was tears from laughter that caused me to misread it,however we all know it was just shear stupidity on my part. Not uncommon for me,I might add. Oh well at least were having fun. Thx JoDeen.:)
