I thought black would be easier on the eyes than red. :)

I loved this puzzle; I didn't "see" it until the last couple of pixels of the tail. Wow! Nice job.

Thanks.

Thanks! I painted this last year, and I didn't think it would translate well to pixel form. Then I solved a diagonal fleur-de-lis that David had made. :)

Yummy!

It's beautiful, Kristen! And the solve was fun, I enjoyed watching the image slowly appear. I like the border too, nice contrast.

Thanks, Teresa! I needed the border to get the solve going, and still keep all of the little gaps between segments. :)

I am not going to solve this big one Kristen, but oh how beautiful the image, absolutely amazing! You are such an artist :)

Thanks! 40x40 isn't that big ;)

I know, I use to love solving bigger ones, but these days I restrict my puzzle sizes to no more than 25x25, due to the time I have on the computer, and I find that if I save puzzles I rarely go back to them, which is shame. But I do like looking at them, and i can really appreciate all the time and effort that goes into a beautiful puzzle such as this one Kristen :)

Really clever design. Love the adaption of the basic image. Very doable puzzle and a rewarding solve.

I keep seeing a crab or a lobster. I like the solve so far, tho it's pretty damn tricky!
More to come...
Done now. Beautiful! Who knew a crab would be so beautiful?

it's a crawfish (aka a crayfish or crawdad). Essentially, a small lobster.
