First, I have to ask if you stuck to strict puzzle logic or did you guess on the red 3s? I got a little frustrated with the color logic and gave up and used visual logic (which is not logic at all, just assuming you know what the creator did). Oh wait, I'm the creator, so it wasn't guessing for me. Haha.

Second, I didn't enter this puzzle to win the contest, just to make a statement. The image is not pretty or cute or amusing in any way. But I thought it would make for an interesting solve.

Here is the US Navy photo I used for the image:

I hope you read the article that goes with it. It's entitled "Ten Years and Counting: Where's the Global Warming?"

In spite of an increase in global greenhouse gas emissions in the past 10 years, there has been no global warming during that time, according to precise measurements by NASA satellite instruments. Even for the Arctic and global sea surface temperatures. This data report is confusing to scientists on both sides of the global warming controversy.

It's hard to have an unbiased opinion about global warming. The report in the link is the best one I could find with the least amount of bias. It explains the difference between global warming theory and alarmist global warming theory.

Just so you know where I stand on this issue (being the opinionated strong headed person that I am), I believe global warming is a serious issue, and I believe we each have an individual responsibility to protect our environment for future generations. I also believe that in this and any other controversial issue, it is important to educate oneself about both sides thoroughly (look at the science, and not just what is reported in the media), before forming an opinion, and to be open to changing that opinion in light of new evidence. So, read the article, and post any links you would like me to read, and I'll read those as well.

My point is: The effects of global warming are real, but will probably occur over a long period of time. Ten years from now, I'm willing to bet the North Pole will still be covered with ice. If WEBPBN is still around in 2020, we can all come back and have a good laugh (maybe). I'm not sure who will be laughing at whom, but I'm ready to be a good sport if I'm wrong. :-)

I used only colour and line logic for everything including the red 3s. It's completely solvable as usual for your puzzles.

Thanks, everyone.

Now if corporations and nations could be as conscientious as us good citizens of the Earth.

Well, it's been eight years, and the polar ice is shrinking. Just sayin'. And I wish we good citizens were really conscientious. We keep electing the idiots.

Teresa - great puzzle and commentary! I used visual logic (can you hear me in your head?) with the red 3's. It's now 2022 and yes, we're all still here amid the pandemic. Global warming is real, but not at the alarmist rate. I echo you to appeal to everyone to be good citizens of the earth!
