Puzzle Description:

New Home Adventure.. This is how I labeled the boxes so we'd know which room they went to. It made things run so smooth and organized. I wrote "Fragile" or "Heavy" in red marker on the top section of each lid (if necessary) and the location it needed to go to in blue marker on the bottom section of the lid. The black represents the packing tape. (Something I used A LOT of during the moving process.)

"Fra-gee-lay! Must be Italian."

We went a step (or 6) beyond that. We got a bunch of clear, stackable bins with lids that dovetail, and printed out large black numbers from 1 to 100 (2 of each). We filled a bin, placed a number at each end, then entered the contents onto a spreadsheet. That way, we could easily check the list to see what was in each container. For those in the FB group (who are friends with me), you can see a photo of our storage container (sea can) filled with stacked, numbered bins. It's in the Louisiana album.

I only moved the boxes and peeked when time to unpack

I labelled my boxes with numbers as well and wrote a list of what was in each one but then one of my grandkids packed the list in one of the boxes. We never did find it!

If your boxes may be stacked up for awhile, it helps to mark them on the side. The top may be covered by another box. I use multi-colored sticky notes to indicate different destinations. I'm currently packing up my mom's stuff to move her to assisted living - green is for stuff she's keeping, pink for stuff to give away, blue goes to my place, yellow to my brother, etc. I can write the general contents on the notes, too.

You'll shoot your eye out.. Yes, great movie.

Those are all great packing tips. I wrote the basic idea of the contents on the front sides of the boxes.
