Puzzle Description:

Sight seeing at the moon landing

#1: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Nov 2, 2011

nice puzzle
i see the earth in the background
the fence
the guy
the flag
but what is next to the flag, sitting in one of the moon's craters? an earth rock or something?

after line logic "seems" to end (which it actually doesnt) the trick was finding a couple of not so obvious dots in r24 (then the computer was smart enough to solve the rest)

it was supposed to be the moon lander although they probably would have taken that back with them

No, we have plenty of garbage up there and in space. Great idea, Kevin.
#4: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Nov 3, 2011 [SPOILER]
I could see it was the moon lander, though on further inspection I guess it could be a tentacled moon beastie. ;)

Great job Kevin.

Thanks for a very nice entry Kevin!

Bug's half right. The top half of the LEMs were used to return to the command module and were jettisoned in space. Unless the return trips went back to old technology, only the bottom half of the modules would still be on the moon surface.

A fun and imaginative image none-the-less.
