Nice puzzle. At first I thought it was a phone booth and a cell phone!

I love it. I'm glad someone else didn't see the 1:17 right off. I stared a minute and when it came into focus it is so clear. I love these puzzles and waste way too much time here. Has someone done a study to prove this is really good for our brains? It surely is.

I recall that we had a discussion strand about other puzzles. People here do A LOT of puzzles.

Puzzles that give you that "Aha!" moment when you solve them have been found to stimulate the right temporal lobe. If solving crossword puzzles are good for the brain, then webpbn puzzles must be even better! :-)

I will agree this must be even better--I hate crosswords. :) I don't know enough words--my vocabulary is too small. :) This is so much fun it's good to think it IS good for us--whether it is or not. Have you ever been to lumosity.com? They have brain games and claim they are good for you. I only play the free ones.

I like all sorts of puzzles. Generally speaking, a "new" type of puzzle is good for you because it makes you think. I have been to lumosity -- and the first two or three exercises were okay, and then there was one that either I didn't really understand or wasn't explained well and I did not "pass". I was not allowed to continue until I "passed". I quit. That gave me more time for pbn's, scrabble and sudoku -- the really important things in life -- LOL!~!

I just re-solved my own puzzle and said to myself "Ab?"
#15: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Oct 13, 2017
LOL

I didn't see what Teresa was seeing either until I squinted at the time and then could see the white outlining the A and the b. Fun puzzle!
#17: Ga Hendrick (GaHendrick) on Oct 14, 2017 [SPOILER]
Thanks for the puzzle. An interesting juxtaposition of the "modern" clock.
