Grim Reaper. I haven't worn this one for many years, but I still have it. In college, our student housing group put on a haunted house event for a couple of years and this is what I dressed as. It was so much fun...

Why does the Reaper have to be grim? Why not melancholy or stoic? Perhaps people would have a better view of death and dying if our representative icon were a bit more upbeat. Afterall, where would we be without Senor Muerto? We would be up to our butts in REALLY old people. Not to mention all the plants and animals still alive too. If you think about, death is the ultimate recycler. We don't begrudge the mushroom its role in our ecosystem, so why death? I've got it!
