He looks happy. Such a friendly smile!
#2: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Oct 20, 2011 [HINT]
after initial line logic you can use edge logic on the 6 clue in c20 and this solves out with line logic
nicely done
no guessing

I agree with bugaboo comment. I used a bit of extended logic myself and was able to solve without guessing.

I guess making Gator into a gator would've been too cliche?

Boy oh boy, am I glad this wasn't an alligator. Nice (if there is such a thing) shark.

Excellent puzzle.
Same as bugaboo on solve.
#9: Gator (gator) on Oct 21, 2011 [HINT]
I absolutely love, love, love this puzzle! After about 30% of the puzzle was done with line logic, I used edge logic on the 12 clue on row 1 to get 2 dots. The rest was line logic solvable.

Thanks marz!

Pretty cool puzzle, Marz. The solve was lots of fun.

Thanks every one :)

Glad you like it Gator :)

Larry there is such a thing, I love sharks, especially great whites, when I was young my mum and dad snuck me in to the drive in to watch Jaws, have totally adored the great white ever since, one of the things that I want to do before I get to old is to go shark diving down in South Australia to see them, in a big strong shark cage of course :D.

Toothy little bugger, isn't he? But I always knew Gator was a fierce one! ;)
Thanks for another great puzzle, Marz! (I don't comment on a lot of them, but I love them all! :)

Thank you Debbie! :)

That was so much fun because the title was misleading. From about halfway through I saw a shark, but kept wondering what was going on. I started with the 14, 13, 10 and 9, then did the edge logic on row 1. I used a little edge logic later on col 20, then line logic all the way. It was never trivial - always back and forth, which I enjoy. Thanks.

Very surprising solve. Great job.
