Thx Carol,I liked the grill too.Well let's be fair now Carol,i'm sure your right but it was probably a drunk guy,or a juvenile delinquent who did it first. Or it could of been a jealous husband.:)

Aldège, I am not a car person, although I like the details on your car puzzles. At last, though, you have made a car I can relate to. When I was a little girl we always had used cars. I particularly recall a large maroon 1947 Dodge. Then my Dad had some success after he started his own business, and we got a brand new 1957 Buick Special. It was a white and light blue two-tone -- with automatic turn signals and a radio! -- and I remember how sleek and luxurious it seemed to me.

Thx Lollipop,i don't know why but i just find old cars cool.I wish they could make new cars with the old car styling. I'm lucky i have my 58 Dodge to cruise in style.:)

They tried with the PT Cruiser, but it ended up looking like a baby hearse.

Would you do a 1968 Camaro for me? I had learned to drive in a 15-year-old VW with no windshield wipers, no brake lights, a wonky clutch, and the gas pedal attached by a length of hanger, so I was reluctant to take it for my driver's licence test lest a part of it fall off. My beloved and at the time future mother-in-law drove me to the licence bureau and let me take the test in her new blue Camaro with its mile long hood.

Carol took the words right out of my mouth ... really?!? Nice car Aldege

Your right Kristen, they also revived the VW bug,the old T-bird,the Mini Cooper, and most recently the Fiat 500.For the most part they've done a not bad job,but i would like it if they could duplicate the body style exactly, but with modern mechanicals. Now i do admit they have done a great job with the new,Mustangs,Camaro's,and the new Dodge Challenger. Muscle car mania is back.
#14: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Oct 13, 2011
Thx Susan,yes really, unfortunately.

Funny story about your VW Lollipop,i can't imagine you even thinking of using it for your test, however it worked to your advantage cause you got to drive that gorgeous Camaro. I'll see what i can do about making your 68 Camaro.
