Smooth operator in my head. Good puzzle Aldege :)#7: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Oct 11, 2011
David 3 out of 4 is pretty good, meaning the only artist you mentioned that isn't fantastic is Sade, she's ok but not in the same league as the other 3. League,oh that's another great band,Human League.:)#8: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Oct 11, 2011
Thx Marie-Louise,your certainly not singing that about me. I have a feeling David might be a smooth operator though, lol. He certainly knows his music.I'm surprised no one said it reminded them of the song Operator by Shiloh which is a fairly current song.#9: larrry grizzard (gizzard) on Oct 12, 2011
Operator is also a Jim Croche song, as well as one by the Grateful Dead back when Pigpen was still with them. Probably a lot of songs named Operator, not many involving happy endings.#10: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Oct 12, 2011
I didn't say they were all my favorites ;)#11: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Oct 12, 2011
Your probably right larry.#12: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Oct 12, 2011
I was pretty sure Sade was not amongst your favourites David, Toto would of been up there, when i was playing bass in rock bands way back when we played some Toto. Now, New Order and The Clash their more our style.:)
Okay, I do remember Croce's Operator, after looking it up on YouTube. I guess I'm the only Manhattan Transfer fan in here. :)#13: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Oct 12, 2011
why yes, kristen...yes you are ;)#14: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Oct 12, 2011
I prefer The Holly Cole Trio,Kristen, especially the Don't Smoke in Bed cd. The early Transfer stuff was good.#15: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 13, 2011
Nice one, Aldege.#16: Joseph Jessen (gijoex2) on Oct 13, 2011
Bugaboo, I also thought of Jim Croce.
