Aldege, I stand by my previous comments that your B&W's rock light years ahead of the color ones. This is no exception. Good one!

I saw a big old moon yesterday while I was tinkering with my bike, it was on a bus full of rowdy men, probably a team of footy blokes, I could hear them from mile away singing, so I was watching as they went past and there it was!!! The moon, looking straight at me!!! LOL, a big hairy moon!!!!
#17: Teresa K (fasstar) on Oct 2, 2011

#18: Marie-Louise Ambrey (marz71) on Oct 2, 2011

#21: Marie-Louise Ambrey (marz71) on Oct 2, 2011

#25: Marie-Louise Ambrey (marz71) on Oct 3, 2011
Haha, that one is pretty cute! ;)
#26: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Oct 3, 2011
Funny you should say that marz, true story, when i was a baby my sisters use to take care of me cause my mom was worn out from having so many kids(18),apparently i had(and still do)a really cute little bottom and my sisters nicknamed me "Bumsy". That name stuck with me into my early teens until i finally got my family to call me Al. To this day some of my aunts and uncles still call me "Bumsy",lol.:)
#27: Marie-Louise Ambrey (marz71) on Oct 4, 2011
Guess what your new nickname on webpbn is Aldege! LOL!
So Bumsy....just kidding ;)
I knew a lady in Tasmania (we lived in Tassie for 14 years) who had 23 children, when I knew her she only had about 13 living with her at the time, she had 18 still around, the others had died under different circumstances. They were the lovliest of families, amazing people.
#28: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Oct 4, 2011
don't worry Aldege... I WON'T call you bumsy
#29: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Oct 4, 2011
I'm not uptight about it anymore gang,so go ahead if you want, including you Tom old pal,btw have you been dancing lately? I hope so,i'm sure it helps to keep your spirits up.

I was the youngest marz,i knew of 2 brothers that passed away at young ages, however their were some before and after me that i have no knowledge of. I grew up with 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
#30: Marie-Louise Ambrey (marz71) on Oct 4, 2011
Wow Aldege, that is still a lot of sibs, I have only 1 brother and 3 sisters, and I have had 1 boy and 3 girls myself. Sometimes my 4 seem like a whole lot more when they are rowdy though, lol, which is often.
#31: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Oct 4, 2011
so true.
#32: Carol Brand (KarylAnn) on Oct 18, 2017
I'm going through my Saved Puzzle list and chose this one because there were a lot of comments. I chose wisely because Wow this was a fun conversation to read through! Wow that is a lot of siblings Aldege! Family get togethers must be hectic! It's just my younger sister and me; though both of us were separately adopted when we just babies. One of the librarians at work who specializes in genealogy did find my birth mother and it turns out I have 7 siblings. No, I have never reached out though I have looked at their FB pages.

I too saw a spaceship forming; the Starship Enterprise to be exact. Thanks for a fund puzzle and conversation; even if it is 6 years old!
#33: Andrew Schultz (blurglecruncheon) on Jul 8, 2021 [SPOILER]
Haha, I was about to comment that I figured it was a Star Wars reference with the Death Star. But I was definitely not the first. It works both ways.

Incidentally, there's a moon of Saturn called Mimas that looks a lot like the Death Star.
#34: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jul 8, 2021
Aha, this is where we first learned about Bumsy! Now I need to find the puzzle that inspired me to add "Ottoman" as a surname. ^_^
#35: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Jul 9, 2021
Hm. Ottoman is an unusual word, so I think I can find it with a database search. Maybe puzzle 16012?
