Puzzle Description:
I just wanted to try. Not so bad for the first one, right?

Very pretty. Good first try.#2: Byrdie (byrdie) on Sep 18, 2011 [HINT]
Not a bad attempt, nice to look at. Need to work a little bit on the solvability. The red and green are completely solvable with color and line logic. The black portion, however, ouf!#3: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Sep 18, 2011
I got it on the first try by figuring where the black 4 in R6 went, but the logic I applied is suspect. I marked it as requiring some guessing.
Very nice 1st try.#4: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Sep 19, 2011
The flower is lovely; the text is a bit odd. :)#5: Joel Lynn (Furface1) on Sep 19, 2011
Ditto #4. Please make more!!#6: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Sep 21, 2011 [HINT]
because of the 1's in columns above, we know that the black 4's in R10 and R11 are either staggered or potentially overlap in C5...no matter how that goes there will be a black in either C4R10 or C4R11 which let's you add some dots above.#7: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Sep 21, 2011
no guessing.
great solve (no guessing)#8: Bryan (Cyclone) on Jan 27, 2014 [SPOILER]
i did something similar to what was described in comment 6
There is no logical way to solve the black anywhere that I can see. Marked as requiring lots of guessing and went to the solution to lay out the black. The flower is very nice and solvable by logic.
