I don't want everyone to think I'm picking on Ray specifically, but this is the first large graphic image I've done since I started thinking about ratings.

Honestly, I don't think that overly large puzzles should be rated so high. If you think about it, it's easy to get almost an exact replica of any image, if you make it large enough. (You can duplicate the pixels of the original image.) I think the real genius comes in taking a smaller grid and creating a solvable, recognizable image.

That's just my two cents.

I agree with what your saying Kristen, however i also know that sometimes as artist making puzzles we get an idea that we think is real cool and we feel compelled to portray our idea thru a puzzle, however we can't always get the image just right without making it on a large grid.I don't really see a problem with the odd one being on a large grid as long as the image is real nice.A 99x99 that is a WOT is a different story. The best possible situation to me is an image that moves me done in b&w and on a small grid. Most of us have done these before. One of my favourite puzzles is one by Brian Bellis that's of a penguin. It's not b&w but it's on a 5x5 and when i saw it I said wow and i rated it a 5.

Puzzle largo por su tamaño pero no demasiado difícil de resolver. Buena imagen.
