I always wanted to be a garbage man (as weird as that sounds). Because I wanted to ride on the back of the truck.

#8: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Aug 3, 2011
anyway please explain what this is (how does paleontology fit into this image)
#9: Teresa K (fasstar) on Aug 3, 2011 [SPOILER]
I thought maybe you wanted to be a conductor, as that looks sort of like an orchestra pit, with a baby grand and a music stand, and you look like you are holding a baton.

Fun solve.
#10: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Aug 4, 2011
looks like a samurai to me
#11: Stephanie Zahnzinger (stz1229) on Aug 4, 2011 [SPOILER]
I thought maybe it was Aang from Avatar the last Airbender. I wanted to be a paleontologist, too, annalivia!
#12: Jota (jota) on Aug 4, 2011
Annalivia is this greek?
#13: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Aug 4, 2011 [SPOILER]
Now that I know what it's supposed to be, I can see a skull and a femur? and a tusk or something encased in the fancy blue-and-red rock. Perhaps those are the layers of ancient sediment.
#14: annalivia (annalivia) on Aug 5, 2011 [SPOILER]
thx for the comments everyone!

Bugaboo... it's suppose to be a pick axe though one doesn't use pick axes much in paleo. dental picks and bitty brushes, but they wouldn't have shown up at all.

you're right kristen! :-) I would have made the sedimentary layers brown, but alas, there is no brown. black was too overpowering, I thought.

so Tom, you were a paleontologist? and Stephanie wanted to be one , too. tres cool!

Jota, I'm not sure what you mean.

#15: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Aug 5, 2011

#16: Jota (jota) on Aug 5, 2011

#17: marjorie rex (mamo) on Aug 12, 2011

#18: Lollipop (lollipop) on Nov 13, 2011
A concert pianist (had I only practised more...), a labour organizer (because of an inspirational college professor), a competitive equestrian (my daughter did that, so my work here is done).
