I was stuck for a long time, but then figured out that the long stretches in R1 (26) and R3 (15) could not overlap more than a few squares. That was the breakthrough that allowed me to move forward and solve the whole puzzle.#8: derby (Derby) on Sep 2, 2018

"Takes lots of backtracking when logic proves a path wrong, but NO GUESSING needed" - I would argue that choosing that path in the first place was a guess, especially if lots of backtracking was necessary. No guessing needed. Was it pure coincidence that two pictures of this ship were both on the random puzzles for 10/8/23? Or are there just so many pictures of this ship that we are bound to get two at some point?
