Beautiful dream for a 15 year old. Nice puzzle! May I ask what did you give it up for?
#4: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jul 7, 2011
Thx Jota, like a fool i quit at the age of 19,because i got engaged and my wife to be did not like me playing in the band. She sure liked bragging to her friends that her boyfriend was in a band though.I can't really blame her though because it was always a party atmosphere and not conducive to starting a family. I did get back into it later after i had my kids but quit again for the same reasons. You practice 3to 4 times a week at night because everyone has day jobs and then you play gigs on thursday, friday and saturday night. It doesn't leave much time for family stuff.

Since you're still producing kids, there's no way you'll go back to it, so look forward and SMILE!

That's true Jota,i will always have fond memories of those times and who knows maybe some day Destyny will play an instrument and her and i can be a duet. My eldest son Brad followed in my footsteps and was in a band when he was a teen also.He was more successful at it then me,his band recorded a cd,which i listen to quite often.I got to see him play in a bar once and i also had a chance to jam with him which was way cool. Now he's a great dad to 2 little girls and he doesn't play anymore.

Awesome, Dude!

Do you still have a guitar? You have to play for those little ones. Teach them how to rock out.

What was your favorite cover?
#14: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jul 10, 2011
Thx Teresa,or is it dudette?lol. Unfortunately no i don't have a guitar anymore, however i still get the kids to rock on,my son J-D bought his own guitar(cheapie),and i made a guitar for A-J out of scrap wood, and i play air guitar. We pretend were playing and singing and we dance and giratte for the girls.Niki and our daughter Tessa get a howl out of us.The boys and i lift our legs up to pretend were holding a guitar and we hop on the other leg a-la Chuck Berry and we do the the windmill motion upstrum or downstrum a-la the Who.I guess my all time favorite cover was Magic Carpet Ride by Steppenwolf but we played so much great music from that era,Hendrix,The Cream,The Who,The Guess Who,The Beatles,The Stones, and on,and on.It was a great time for music.

I wish we could give a puzzle 10 stars. this is good on so many levels. I loved solving it and watching the image unfold. every pixel is meaningful in this puzzle. really great design, aldege. like you, I was once in a band. from 1980 to 1988. mostly made up of family members (which can be really really good, or in our case, really really bad). we played top 40 80's music - prince, Madonna, etc. I wish we had played a decade sooner - like the music you mentioned. that would have been way more fun. again, great puzzle.
