Why would anyone mow their pastures?! Cutting it with the riding mower means you can't make hay with it. Cutting it removes majority of the food value. It's not a pasture, it's a lawn.#14: Sarah Andrews (sarah) on Jun 26, 2011
We don't need hay because we got rid of our animals. We leave one section uncut for wild "critters" to live in. Also, cutting the pastures keep the snake population down and keeps volunteer trees from growing.
