Thanks, Aldege.
#4: bugaboo (bugaboo) on Jun 16, 2011 [HINT]
i used edge logic on each 4 in r17 and it solved out
no guessing

although it was symmetrical i think this is your best puzzle by far ljohns

Thank you, Bugaboo.

Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by blurglecruncheon.

I know symmetry in general isn't viable but here *I think* we can use a (mathematical) symmetry argument. 81% with LL/CL and if both 2's in C14/16 go up we have a contradiction R15. Since the numbers are symmetricalwe can assume C14 or C16 points down.

If that's not viable we can use edge logic on R17. But I like the symmetry argument, if it's valid.

To avoid Symmetry, you can go with Internal Edge Logic or Double Smile Logic, for the mouth :-3
#13: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Feb 2, 2024 [HINT]
I did the same thing as Bugaboo: Line and color logic to 81%, then some internal edge logic in row 17, then line logic to finish.

Cute puzzle!
