Puzzle Description:

A PC at your wrist

#1: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jun 6, 2011 [SPOILER]

Fairly straighforward edge logic. I got the wristband part, but I'm having trouble seeing "computer" :)

agree with Kristen... thx for entry, Kai
#3: Jota (Jota) on Jun 6, 2011
Absolutely the next step Kai, Thanks!

yes it looks like a cartoony face with a wicked slanted sneer
and a mondo unibrow or an upside down smiley face with a slanted hairline
cool
line logic solves about 75% of this, with the middle and the lower right corner left (if you are stuck fairly early on notice that r3c8 has to be a dot)
edge logic on the 3 in c20 to get a few dots followed by line logic solves this
no guessing
#5: Gator (gator) on Jun 6, 2011 [HINT] [SPOILER]
Yep, I used edge logic in c20 to make R17C20 and R18C20 dots. The rest was line logic.

It looks like "(:\" to me.

Found to be logically solvable by gator.

you're right - that's next! cool idea.

c:\
Yes, that's what's shown on the screen.
#9: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jun 7, 2011 [SPOILER]
aha, a c prompt! I haven't seen one of those in a while =)

Cool puzzle, fun solve. I like the idea of having a personal device that you can wear. I'm always dropping or losing my phone. I'd like a screen that is viewed on my glasses and a pointer device/keypad on my wrist. Then I would probably run around saying, "Where did I put my HD Trifocals?" :-D
#11: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Jun 7, 2011 [SPOILER]
If it uses DOS I don't want one. Good puzzle though.
#12: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jun 8, 2011
are you a red hat man, bran?
#13: Kai-Uwe Zickerick (conzick) on Jun 8, 2011
@Brian. Sometimes you need the PROMPT.
#14: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Jun 8, 2011 [SPOILER]
Tom, I don't know. What is a red hat man? I like computers programs that are so sophisticated, that they are naturally simple to use.

Our school district has a gradebook program that is very unnatural and I find it difficult to be effective using it. DOS was like that for me.
#15: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jun 9, 2011
bran...red hat is a computer programming company. an os
