I never saw your good wishes until today, Jota, Byrdie and Valerie. In a way, I'm glad...it makes it so nice to have saved them until today. I did have the surgery...and nine big rounds of chemotherapy ending on March 23rd. I've done remarkably well my cancer doctor tells me! Not many get a cure for 4th stage ovarian cancer...but I may be one of the lucky 10%. This would be a happier time with that good news, but we just found out that my husband has kidney cancer. Awaiting test results to determine exactly what kind so they can determine a course of treatment for him. It's hard for me to bear this news...and ironic...and kind of just plain awful...but please keep him in your prayers if you pray. he's one of the good guys, was not on anyone's radar for this sort of thing. P.S....I found out it's way easier to be seriously sick yourself than it is to have someone you love be seriously sick. I've never been one to bargain with God, but my Sweet Lord, I really am walking on the edge right now.#22: Jota (jota) on Apr 23, 2022
