i thought i was seeing a person seen from the side and the image was confusing
then i realized it was a straight on view with a utensil in each hand
nice puzzle
my question is why do you need a knife (in your left hand) if you only have mashed potatoes and peas?
haha

Thx bugaboo, that's funny, i guess i was planning to have a meat dish but i'm so tired i forgot to cook it.lol.

If you think you feel your age now wait till she's a teenager! lol from another old parent.
#5: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jun 2, 2011
i would rather sleep in a pizza
#6: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jun 2, 2011
Marjorie,i've already been thru this once,i have 2 kids from my first marriage who are now 36 and 34. I should of titled it to old to do this again.lol.
#7: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jun 2, 2011
Tom that's funny,a pizza or a plate of spaghetti with a meatball in each eye.
#8: Joel Lynn (Furface1) on Jun 2, 2011 [SPOILER]

*substitute green vegetable of your choice

What Aldege was thinking: "I sure do love Niki.... Hooray, she's going to have a baby!...I don't need sleep. I've had YEARS of sleep already!"
#10: annalivia (annalivia) on Jun 2, 2011 [SPOILER]
lol!!! and this is the easy part! and don't older people need less sleep anyway?
#11: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jun 2, 2011
That's exactly why i needed the knife Joel,of course if i knew i was going to wear the peas i could of dispensed with the knife altogether.lol.
#12: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jun 2, 2011
Your right Kristen i've been dorment for 34 yrs i think i've had enough sleep.lol.
#13: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jun 2, 2011
Apparently that's true Annalivia but i'm not sure at what age that starts to happen, maybe we should consult with Tom he has to be at that stage, however i get the feeling Tom's getting younger instead of older.
#14: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jun 2, 2011
the amount of sleep depends on WHO was here last night :)

I loved the puzzle and solving it was lots of fun, but reading the comments is priceless, it's like reading a transcript from a comedy show.
PS: The knife goes in the right hand old friend.

Not in Europe! Or at my house, because I'm left-handed and I don't see the point in switching hands when I can cut with one hand and eat with the other. :)
#22: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jun 4, 2011
i'm left handed and i cut with right hand & eat wiff left...and blow my nose with left :D
#23: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jun 4, 2011
Thx Jota,i was probably too tired to realize i had them in the wrong hands. I agree with Kristen if both hands work why bother switching.lol. Tom due to the size of my nose it takes both hands to blow it and tissues are insufficient, I use a chamois.lol.

I eat my peas with honey
I've done it all my life
It makes the peas taste funny
But it keeps them on my knife

Ogden Nash, I believe ...

A quick trip to the interwebs either attributes Ogden Nash, or that prolific fellow, A. Nonymous.
