this image wasnt very difficult, but it was time consuming. and in the end, i don't think the final image was worthy of the work.

Well i'm really sorry to of wasted your time karl, however i don't feel like i wasted mine cause i still enjoyed making it. I didn't actually make this puzzle with you in mind by the way and i would love for you to make a puzzle so that i can make a complimentary comment about it or just keep my pie hole shut if i don't care for it.

Thx annalivia and your welcome, that's all i've got for 1923. These things are in my Classic Car magazine and i thought they might be of interest to some people besides myself. Obviously in the case of karl i was wrong.lol.

Great puzzle, fun to solve. But I was curious about the bottom border section. As I was solving it, I expected it to be lettering, maybe a word of 5 or 6 letters. But in the end it didn't seem to be legible. And looking at the picture off of the link that kristen provided above, there didn't seem to be any bottom border on the original magazine. Was that your own invention?

yess..answer that one, aldege lol
#15: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on May 15, 2011
You mean the bottom border that says Vol 1 No. 1? :)

#16: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on May 16, 2011
Craig thx for your comment, it is on the magazine however in very small print which obviously i had to make bigger, but i thought it was pretty legible.

Just found this puzzle - I think it is extremely well done and looks very much like the magazine cover. The text at the bottom was challenging to read, but once I knew it was Time magazine, the volume number and issue became obvious. It is interesting how we (Americans) know our presidents, but most other politicians and statesmen are forgotten, no matter how important they were at the time.
