Puzzle Description:

The words should be 3 letters or more. But if you know 2 letter words, that's fine. No words start with a capital letter. Plural words are acceptable. There should be 24 words, but I only have 21 (not counting 2 letter words if there are any).

I can't believe I didn't have hen and hens :)
Susan, are you a Scrabble person?
#7: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on May 8, 2011 [SPOILER]
To yours I would add:
30 ashen
31 ahs as in "oohs and ahs"
32 ehs referring to the exclamation eh
33 nah
34 vas

and subtract #8 as a repeat leaving us with 33 total.
#8: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on May 8, 2011 [SPOILER]
Oh, and there's "He's" if contractions are allowed.

(Not to mention most of the plurals could be converted to possessives:
ah's, ave's, eh's, en's, ha's, haven's, hen's, nave's, van's and vane's)

So that would be 34 or 44.

@ #6: could also be a "boggle" person or a "text twist" (another fun computer game) person too
#10: Sarah Andrews (sarah) on May 8, 2011
true, she could be a boggle person or a text twist person.
I knew we would get a longer list, and we did!

gotta watch out for those puzzlers...i was at a family christmas/reunion and one of the games they had for us all to play was to find as many 2+ letter anagrams as we could with a 2 minute time limit for the phrase "Merry Christmas". i won by scribbling down somewhere around 90 words. somebody asked me if i thought i got most of them and i told them that it was all about the time limit, because i wouldn't be surprised if there were somewhere in the range of 700 to 1000 answers. i love those kinds of games.

Back about 15-20 years ago, this was one of my favorite timesinks. I'd get a long word or short phrase and then start filling up the page with its derivatives. (I was very organized about it with columns for each letter and symbols for common suffixes and any names and other exclusions were counted separately.) Somewhere I probably have a notebook half filled with them.
